Our Story
Bashe Dairy Farm Limited is a functioning, asset-backed agro-industrial enterprise rooted in the farming heritage of Tabora, Tanzania. It is not a concept or a startup — it is an evolving third-generation production platform, with roots dating to 1946, operating across 3,000 acres of productive land in Kinyamwe Village, Magiri Ward, Uyui-Tabora, with an active daily milk output of 20,000 litres and a determined target of 60,000 litres within two years.
A Three-Generation Journey
1946 — Present
1946 — Generation One. The founder’s grandfather laid the foundation of what would become Bashe Dairy Farm — not with capital or infrastructure, but with the most fundamental agricultural commitment: traditional livestock keeping and subsistence farming.
Generation Two — Stewardship. The second generation carried that vision forward with resilience and dedication, preserving the family’s farming heritage through changing conditions.
2007 — Generation Three. Hussein Bashe takes over family livestock operations across Morogoro, Bagamoyo, and Nzega. A modernisation drive begins.
2018 — Consolidation. All operations are consolidated into a single, modern farm at Uyui, Tabora Region. Farm infrastructure, roads, a dam, and organised production systems are established.
Present. Bashe Dairy Farm produces 20,000 litres/day, with 6,400+ head of livestock across a 3,000-acre estate, TMR feeding systems, and a target of 60,000 litres/day.

Dairy Division — Core Revenue Engine
20,000 litres/day current output from our Friesian dairy herd, TMR precision feeding, and TBS-certified yoghurt — on a determined path to 60,000 L/day within two years.
Beef Division — Value-Chain Beef
Brahman & Brangus crossbreeds raised through an on-farm fattening programme, supplying a direct butchery network with traceable, quality-assured beef.
Crop Division — Feed Security & Green Farm
300+ acres of maize and silage, sunflower cultivation in development, and organic fertiliser production — feeding our own animal feed unit and reducing input dependency.
